The kids Ruffle Skirt is the perfect wardrobe basic. It’s a fun and easy-to-wear little skirt that, depending on your fabric selection, would suit any season or occasion. Completely versatile, this style can be dressed up or just a happy addition to the everyday. Make it in a print or plain fabric, make it in many! Perfect on hot days with a t-shirt and sandals, or a chunky cardigan, tights and boots in winter. Pattern pieces for a mini and a longer knee length skirt are provided.

For best results we love to use Nerida Hansen Fabrics cotton wovens to make the Ruffle Skirt: (fabric requirements are for knee length skirt)

* for waistband - 32mm-wide knitted elastic: 2-21cm; 3-22cm; 4-23cm; 5-24cm; 6-25cm; 7-26cm
* for front waistband - mid-weight fusible interfacing - one piece 40cm x 10cm

All patterns include a 1cm seam allowance, cut along your chosen fabric and you're good to go!

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern is password protected - Your password is sent via email, if you lose the password you can find it by searching for Sewpronto.

If you are printing A0 and giving it to Officeworks or similar print shops they will need to be given the password. We have been made aware that using Officeworks upload feature doesn't work with the password, so you will have to go into the shop and share it with them.

Your pattern will be sent as a ZIP file, you will need to unzip (extract) your zip file and save it on your computer. Each time you open your PDF you will need to use your password, so keep it safe. A handy tip is to rename your file with the password in it.
