FAQ'S

What is a PDF sewing pattern?

A PDF sewing pattern is a digital document that contains instructions and templates for creating a specific sewing project. These patterns are typically designed by independent pattern designers and are available for purchase and download online.

PDF sewing patterns usually include a range of sizes, as well as detailed instructions.

Once you purchase a PDF sewing pattern, you can print it out on your home printer and assemble the pages to create a full-size pattern. Some patterns may also include an option to print at a copy shop or a large-format printer.

PDF sewing patterns have become increasingly popular in recent years, as they offer a convenient and cost-effective alternative to traditional paper patterns. They also allow for easy storage and organization, as they can be saved on a computer or other digital device.

I don't know how to download and save my encrypted PDF patterns?

The actual printing files are indeed password protected and will remain so as a saved file on your computer - we have worked very hard to create these patterns and really need to protect ourselves from people sharing or copying the actual pattern files.

You can find your password next to the DOWNLOADS on the left in your order.

There's a really good step by step tutorial on our website HERE that will help explain how our PDF patterns work. There could  be a number of things as to why it is not working for you but if you are still stuck after this tutorial please let us know and we can see what the issue might be. It's helpful if we know what type of device you are working with and if you have Adobe or a PDF viewer on the device. Extracting the files from the downloaded zip folder can also be a common step that is missed.
